This animal lives in burrows. Its bite is painful, but not deadly Males often bite another and they are way more gross and scary than they are dangerous.
This is one of the few poisonous snakes in the southwest. They range in size from 2-8 feet and when you hear them make a noise you better watch out! When you disturb this creature you better keep a distance.

I've only been allowed by this Blog site to add 5 photos at a time...so I now going to attempt to post a whole bunch of travel photos of which when I was having to pick and choose didn't make the cut, but really wanted to share. It takes forever for me to load the pics onto the BLOG, hence I stated attempt!
